Ah, the great British summer: cucumber sandwiches washed down with Pimm’s, the distant thwack of leather on willow, the unmistakable scent of fake tan on sun-soaked skin. This is England, where heritage and pop culture are forever colliding, and tradition is always ripe for reinvention.
My take on the brilliantly offbeat Every. Ball. Counts. script fuses cricket with reality television, reimagining The Hundred as a world of big characters, bigger drama, and unapologetic spectacle. Expect glamour, googlies and the odd cheap shot below the stumps: this is cricket as you’ve never seen it, refracted through a glossy, showbiz filter.
